FIRST STATE BANK
The new two-story bank building was constructed on a vacant lot on downtown Meridian. The owner desired to enhance the downtown environment by selecting and improving the under utilized site. The owner sought a traditional design that would complement the recently renovated Riley Center, while providing a unique but established image for the flagship Meridian Branch of First State Bank.
The program included site work, offices, a lobby, teller lines, vault, conferences, and other bank support spaces. The existing site had adequate room for bank customers only. Additional parking for bank employees were secured by the owner in the City of Meridian Parking Garage one block away.
Interior finished include stone veneer tile, ceramic tile, carpet, vinyl composition tile, painted gypsum board, and lay in ceiling.
